Artist Call: Help Bring Camp Naco's History to Life
What if a single wall could transport visitors more than a century into the past?
The Naco Heritage Alliance (NHA) is seeking an artist to create a digitally produced trompe l'oeil mural for the Immersive Barracks Exhibit at historic Camp Naco. The selected artist will transform a blank wall into the illusion of a living barracks, inviting visitors to step into the world of the Buffalo Soldiers who served here from 1919–1924.
This is an opportunity to blend art, history, and storytelling in a permanent exhibit that will inspire thousands of visitors for years to come.
Commission: Up to $15,000
