As founder and former executive director of the African American Museum of Southern Arizona, Beverely knows that food is a great catalyst for bringing people together in celebration of culture and community. Using this superpower, Beverely will be planning and executing a “Black Borderlands” culinary festival in Naco and Tucson, highlighting regional cuisine and cultural heritage.
